1.   Nano Ceramic Film

Ceramic films contain no dye, metal or carbon; it contains ceramic particles that are nonconductive and nonmetallic. The ceramic elements reflect and reduce solar heat and UV rays from entering the car. While it reflects and absorbs high levels of light, it also allows for maximum visibility, ensuring ceramic film can achieve a balanced color and extremely high clarity, so that the Nano Ceramic film has a low visible light reflectivity, or no dazzling glare.

ceramic means a material or technology applied a film to enable it with certain features such as heat resistance. So ceramics here means- or generally refers to a new type of material that makes the average particle size (D50) of the material less than 100 nanometers through various means and technologies. The main material is Nanometer cesium-doped tungsten oxide powder. Nano-Cesium-Doped Tungsten Oxide: It is one of the semiconductor materials with the highest spectral selectivity found to date. It is characterized by a high transmittance to visible light and a strong barrier in the near infrared region. The special properties of this material can completely replace expensive magnetron sputtering and other technologies, and are used for special needs such as solar film production, near-infrared identification, and near-infrared hot-melt processes.

2.   Nano Carbon Film

Nano carbon film is a type of automotive window tint film that applies carbon particles into its construction. These carbon particles are engineered at the nano level, resulting in a highly uniform dispersion throughout the film. The addition of carbon enhances the film’s heat rejection properties and provides a sleek, matte appearance.

Key features of nano carbon film include:

  1. Heat Rejection: Nano carbon film offers superior heat rejection capabilities, helping to keep the vehicle’s interior cooler and more comfortable, especially in hot climates.
  2. UV Protection: The carbon particles in the film block harmful UV rays, reducing fading and damage to the vehicle’s interior upholstery and trim.
  3. Enhanced Appearance: Nano carbon film provides a sleek, matte finish that adds a stylish look to the vehicle’s windows.
  4. Durability: Nano carbon film is known for its durability and resistance to fading, ensuring long-lasting performance and protection.
  5. Glare Reduction: The film helps reduce glare from sunlight and headlights, improving visibility and driving comfort.

Nano carbon film is a popular choice for vehicle owners looking to enhance both the appearance and performance of their windows. KSB Nano carbon film DD series is easy to shrink and the performance is great for fleet jobs.

3.   High Performance Carbon

HP series is an economic type of film, with 2-layer constructions, HP series is an economic type of film. High performance films some time has heat rejection between 25-75% and full UV block. The dark films usually have high heat rejections since the low visible light transmission helps blocking the heat, but it comes with few or zero nano heat blocking elements, which make the light VLT films, such as 70%, the heat rejection about 40%.

Easy-to-shrink is a great plus for HP films, besides the competitive price. If your customer walks in and do not want a film that is too expensive, does not look  purple, no fading, no peel off in 2-3 years. This is it. Hp films come with a lot of names on the market-color stable, high performance, HP film, etc. Sales of this film have been massive for economic market.

4.   Dyed Film

Typically, A dyed window tint has a layer of dye between the adhesive layer and a protective top coating made of polyester. The adhesive side sticks to the glass while the top coat protects your window from accidental scratches. Unfortunately, the dye fades over time from excessive UV exposure, turning the film from black to purple.

KSB window film applies the deep dye technology, which means the base PET are produced by using colored PET chips, which are embedded in the film instead of color coating it on outside of the transparent films, PET chips (Polyethylene Terephthalate), are melted down and then stretched into a polyester sheet, meaning it is stretched in the direction of both its length and width. UV blockers are added at this point. This greatly improves the color stability and performances, avoiding a film turn into purple.

The result is a film that will retain its color several years longer than traditional films where the dye is “applied” to the clear polyester.

Color stable dye films are some of the best window films you can tint on your vehicle. They won’t block out as much heat as our CARBON film, or as much as our Nano-CERAMIC films, but they will last and perform enough to satisfy most everyone.

KSB has been selling tons of this for each month, and it is a tinter must have.

5.   Chameleon window film

Chameleon window film, also known as color-changing or iridescent window film, is a type of automotive tint that exhibits a unique color-shifting effect. Unlike traditional window films that maintain a consistent color, chameleon film can change its appearance depending on the viewing angle, lighting conditions, and the angle of sunlight hitting the surface.

This effect is achieved through the extrusion of multiple layers of thin film of different thickness so they interact and reflect light in a way that causes the film to display different colors or hues, ranging from vibrant blues and purples to greens and golds.

Chameleon window film offers both aesthetic appeal and functional benefits. In addition to its eye-catching appearance, it provides similar benefits to traditional window tint, such as heat rejection, UV protection, glare reduction, and privacy enhancement. As a result, it is a popular choice among vehicle owners who want to personalize their vehicles while enjoying the practical advantages of window tint.

6.   Paint protection film

Paint protection film (PPF, also called clear bra, clear film or clear paint film) is a thermoplastic urethane often self-healing film applied to painted surfaces of a new or used car in order to protect the paint from stone chips, bug splatters, and minor abrasions. This film is also used on airplanes, RVs, cell phones, electronics, screens, motorcycles and many other areas. Paint protection film is OEM approved by virtually all car manufacturers.

Paint protection film is installed on a limited basis by manufacturers on various pieces of cars at the factory (e.g., the rear arches of Porsches). This film is most commonly applied to high impact areas of vehicles which include: the hood, the front fenders, the front bumper, the side view mirrors, the rocker panels, the lower portion of the doors, and the rear guards behind the rear wheels. This is because these specific panels are the most susceptible to damage from rock chips and other forms of road debris from other vehicles, driving near construction, and even through self-inflicted damage—which is caused by simply driving due to the fact that debris is inevitably is kicked up from the tires rotating. The film is generally installed by certified trained professionals who receive supplies from outside distributors and dealers.

Thermoplastic polyurethane Elastomer refers to a class of polymer materials with properties that are similar to thermosetting rubber and the processing technology is similar to plastics. There are plastic segments (hard segments, HB) and elastic chain breaks (soft segments, SB) in the TPE molecular structure.). Because the hard segment and the soft segment are mechanically incompatible or incompletely compatible, TPE has both thermoplastic and elasticity. TP will show the elasticity of rubber at room temperature or low temperature, and it can be plasticized and formed at high temperature. TPE, it has an interactive cross-linked network structure. This kind of cross-linking is mainly based on physical cross-linking. It can be processed and formed without vulcanization. Moreover, the scrap and waste generated during the processing can be reused. Therefore, it is widely used in automobiles. Construction, wires, cables, electronic products, food packaging, medical equipment and other fields,

Polyurethane is just a new organic polymer material, known as the fifth largest plastic, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, tpu, is the first polyurethane material invented, and it is also one of the fastest-growing polyurethane varieties. The unique molecular structure of the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer material with alternating soft and hard segments makes it not only maintain the high elasticity of rubber, but also have the high hardness and strength of plastics. Tpu has high strength, cold resistance, wear resistance, sound insulation, and solvent resistance. It is widely used in high-end manufacturing fields such as defense and military industry, electronic technology, petrochemical industry, resource exploration, medical and health, sports equipment, etc., which is the transformation of the above-mentioned industry.

7.   Exterior Windshield Protection Film

Exterior Automotive windshield protection film is a transparent KPU-based material that can be applied to the exterior surface of automobiles windshield to enhance the integrity of windshield in challenging driving environments.

1.Protect from road debris-In our daily drive, small chips or debris on the road may hit the windshield and leave Cracks and chips in windshields and this can be hazardous and expensive to repair. With this exterior windshield protection film, you give your drive the world’s most advanced, optically-clear protection.

2.Full UV Protection This film comes with full UV rejection function. UV rays are harmful to human skin and they cause the vehicle interior to fade. This film transmits nearly 91% of the visible light and it is Optically clear, not impairing any of the driver’s vision.

3.Minimize maintain/repair cost: Those expensive windshields, especially those with Advanced Driving Assistance Systems cameras and sensor (ADAS) are very costly to repair or replace. With this exterior applied TPU based plastic, small rocks will bounce off of your windshield instead of crack or chip into the glass, saving you from the hassle of replacement and the diminishing resale value from cutting out the factories original seal.

4.Improve driving experience: Shield Armor reduces glare and will make driving more comfortable. It also reduces eye-strain and let you always have this peace of mind.

  1. Scratch-resistant coating WINDSHIELD PROTECTION FILM comes with a 7H pencil hardness scratch resistance to maximize the service lifetime.
  2. Easy to install: Similar to regular window tint, this film requires less shrinking or techniques to install. Instead, it is simple to apply, and it probably takes 30-45 minutes to have it properly installed on the windshield.
  3. No Heat Gun shrinking needed: KPU material combines the benefits of the TPU (PPF material) and PET (window tint material), such as clarity and self-healing functions to maximize the protection for windshield while maintaining the clarity and self-healing features.
